How to Use TradeQuote

TradeQuote is your all-in-one tool for managing small building projects and generating professional quotes. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

Step 1: Set Up Your Company

Launch the app and tap "Add Company".

Enter your company name, telephone number, email address, and upload a company logo.

These details will appear on all quotes you send.

You can always return later and tap "Edit Company" to make changes.

Step 2: Add a Customer

From the main screen, tap "Add Customer".

Fill in the customer’s name, email, phone number, job address, and postcode.

Save to create a customer record.

You can manage multiple customers and view their projects individually.

Step 3: Add a Project for the Customer

Once a customer is selected, tap "Add Project".

Enter the project name and site address.

Each customer can have multiple projects stored under their profile.

Step 4: Add Tasks to the Project

Inside the project, tap "Add Task" to create individual parts of the job.

For each task, enter:

Task name (e.g. “Kitchen Plumbing”)

Labour hours and rate

Material cost

Travel time and cost

Any additional notes

All costs are automatically calculated and shown in the project total.

Mark Extras and Get Sign-Off

If a task is an Extra, mark it accordingly.

You can collect a digital signature from the client for extra work directly from the task list.

📄 Step 6: View the Quote Summary

Tap "View Quote" to see a clean summary of all tasks and totals.

This includes subtotal, VAT, and grand total — ready to send or print.

Interface Style

All forms and entries appear on clean, card-based views with thin orange borders — making your work easy to read and visually professional.
